“People ignore design that ignores people.“
My favorite quote from designer Frank Chimero
About me as a UX designer
I have been doing user experience design for the past 5 years. I have extensive experience in designing B2B enterprise applications for booking reservations, displaying complex information in a BI tool, and onboarding customers to BI tools in the hospitality industry, just to name a few. I see my current job as how to use technology to make it easier for my users to provide great experiences for their customers.
My strength of inquisitiveness helped my years in developing complex applications. Being curious and invested in my users’ goals and workflows empowered me to come up with creative solutions. My inquisitiveness also extends to stakeholders, managers and the technology that we use. I try to listen and understand all of these perspectives and find a systematic approach to solving their issues.
When I’m not working …
I’ve been drawn to painting since I was a little kid.
I enjoy the fluid creative process of seeing a blurred image or a feeling in my head more clearly on a sheet of paper.
In recent years I took the plunge to give filming and editing a try. I was always so fascinated by the great storytelling of some Youtube creators. Whether it was informative or entertaining, it grabs your full attention from beginning to end through the great script and storylines, beautiful images and editing.
Let’s just say, it is way harder than it looks!
I do very much enjoy the creative process and hopefully, find more time to immerse into this process.
